Jameka's Accomplishments, Awards, and Commitments
2023 was a banner award winning year! Starting with receiving the NCNW Business of the Year Award. Apple News Voted Her as one of the Top Realtors of the Year. In 2024, she was cast in a Netflix movie and was selected to be a cast member on Ct’s first all female reality show on women in business. She feels very blessed and humbled by the accolades but lives by the credo that she wants for others what she wants for herself. Her belief is that all people be treated with respect, honor and dignity and that the spirit of unity and fairness that she will usher in when she takes office will be felt when people arrive within our town’s borders.

Jameka is committed to doing what is right for all of the townspeople of Hamden and ensuring that all of the people’s concerns are heard. This new administration vows to place the needs of many over the needs of a few and her Strategic 7 Point Plan aims to do just that!

Jameka’s reach is far and wide her ability to negotiate with diplomacy has gained her respect from some of the fiercest opponents. One of her super powers is her ability to reach across party lines, color lines and town lines to get the job done! With her vast level of experience and success in business she is extremely confident that her plans, policies and programs will undoubtedly increase the confidence Hamden residents have in their local government where currently it is at an all time low. Jameka A. Morrison-Jefferies is a successful business owner, entrepreneur and community leader who has lived and worked in the Town of Hamden for a combined total of 20+ years. She is an award-winning Real Estate Broker and she currently owns Diamond Realty Partners and Diamond Consulting Firm respectively. The press has touted her as a visionary and thought leader and a leading authority in client advocacy. In 2023, she was awarded by the local Chamber Of Commerce the Regional Community Impact Award. She not only fights hard for those who feel helpless, hopeless and voice-less, but she has a vast network Business professionals who share her same indefatigable spirit to see all of mankind experience the American dream.
